I recently have fallen in love with the bomber jacket trend, this clothing piece has come a long way since being a jacket only used by military pilot or the bombardier into something so popular and widely used by a lot of people in popular culture (including me! I am so guilty of owning a couple bomber jackets even though I live in a very tropical and extremely humid country). There are now so many variations of bomber jackets to choose from, the classic (with the green-ish colour) to the maroon and even the embroidered ones.

I used to think that styling a bomber jacket should strictly only be paired with jeans and a plain t-shirt, but after scrolling through my pinterest timeline and opening tons of fashion blogs I finally realise that it is not restricted to the kind of tomboy-ish look, but you can also really make it look girly by pairing it with a dress or personalise it to your own style. I love it when girls dresses differently when they use the bomber jacket, it really puts the outfit together and I really like when someone combines 2 different clothing items that contradicts each other and make the whole outfit unique.

The bomber jacket have become one of the staple piece for the “it-girls” like Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, the trend is also widely popular amongst the street style fashion people. I love looking at how versatile this one jacket is, and how it can really make an outfit. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures that I show you guys here (all pictures are gathered from the internet, credits to everyone! :p).

You know when summer is getting closer and you start to make unrealistic plans with your friends, such as: go on a road-trip together, have brunch in that new restaurant in town, , go to the beach, don’t stay in bed till noon, don’t be lazy, and do something totally unexpected and spontaneous, etc.

Well, that was me a month ago..Being the lazy person that I am, when summer actually rolled in, here I am in my pajamas staying up late watching my favourite rom-com movie at 11 pm, which will probably explain why I would still be in bed until 2 pm tomorrow. If I am not in my bed you can usually find me in the movie theatre, because I have been watching tons of the new movies, like: Now You See Me 2 (seen this twice already), The Conjuring 2, Finding Dory (LOVEEE the movie), and X-Men: Apocalypse.

It’s not that my summer is not fun, I actually really enjoyed it. I did make a banoffee pie that ended up really good, but extremely time consuming that I don’t think I would be making them for a while now. But when I go on social media I am again reminded of my so-called summer plans, because people are posting their summer vacation pictures and I just get a little bit of pressure to go out and enjoy myself during this time of the year, even though I am already content with what I am doing right now (aka going out only a few times).

Well, I think that is all for now! Thanks for reading my late night summer plans rant, and this was actually a very spontaneous blog post that is a bit more personal and un-planned. I don’t think this would be a thing though in my blog, but I really hope you guys enjoyed it!

This summer I am saying goodbye to one of my closest friend since elementary, because she is going away for college in Singapore. I know that she is not moving to the other side of the world, but I am still going to miss her like crazy! So, if you’re reading this Shab I just want you to know that I am so grateful for having you as a part of my life for the past 8 years. I literally don’t know how I would ever survive junior and senior high without you here by my side.

You were always there for me every time I needed someone to talk or just listen to my ever-so dramatic life stories (even though most of the time you don’t even understand what I am saying with all the crying and shouting going on). Time went by so fast and I am surely going to miss all the sleepovers, the late night domino’s run, the shopping trips (SO sorry for dragging you all over PIM multiple times), the late night HokBen deliveries (all them egg chicken rolls!!), and basically every moment I have spent with you.

We have grown so close in the past years that I think you know me just as much as you know yourself. Our friendship even reached to the point where your house has also become my second home that I could just enter without waiting for you (or Mas Kholis) to answer the door for me and even going to your grandparents house on a monthly basis.

I know that most of the time I don’t really show how much I appreciate our friendship, but I really want you to know that I love you and I will really really REALLY miss you when you go to Singapore, but I know that this is your stepping stone towards a great future (remember: BIG CLOSET, HAPPY LIFE).

So here’s to the years that have yet to come, may our friendship continue to grow and prosper in the future, and for the many memories that we’re going to make (super ready for WTF 2016!)  So be ready for me, knocking on your apartment door visiting you in Singapore.. Okay? 😉 Good luck with your studies there Shab and dont you dare forget about me!!

(I am proud to say that I didn’t cry in the process of writing this blog post, even though my eyes did get a little watery.)

It was like love at first taste, and the rest is history.

I have loved sweets for as long as I can remember and this particular dessert holds a special place in my heart.. It’s pudding to be exact, since I was little my aunty loved to make chocolate pudding with chocolate vla and the extra chocolate shavings on top. But as I grow older my taste buds has grown with me and since then I have fallen in love with one special pudding from Pudding Dessert.

Pudding Dessert has been a favourite of my family since a few years back, everyone in my                        family loves it from my mom, my aunt, my cousins, and even my grandma (she says its not too sweet). They sell a variant of different flavours, but my favourite will always be their biscuit pudding, it is just three layer of pure heavenly goodness. The biscuits with the pudding base along with the vla just goes so well together and it is not too overly sweet that makes you sick but it is just the perfect amount of sweetness, I also do not doubt that their product are made with the highest quality product.

I highly recommend their puddings if you want to send gifts to your friends or family, since it is Ramadhan. Another great thing is that when you buy their pudding you are also giving back to the community, since they have a program going on that donates Rp 2.500 (small size) or Rp 5.000 (large size) for every pudding that you purchase during 6 June -5 July 2016.

Spread the love guys! ❤

For years I have tried to be healthy, but my lifestyle really makes it challenging for me because having to prepare everything for a healthy meal is really time consuming and I am either too busy or just simply too lazy. But not long ago I have found all the answers to my prayers, DINI HARI, a brand that sells overnight oats with various different flavours. I am ashamed to admit that I am very picky with the things I eat, and I like only a little variation of fruits and vegetables. With Dini Hari overnight oats I can eat healthy, and it is very practical for me to eat in the car when I am rushing to go to school. Another perk of ordering from Dini Hari is that they deliver to your front door if you live in the JaBoDeTaBek area. With many different flavors to choose from, my favourite is the chocolate banana.

Dini Hari is THE healthy food for anyone who wants to start eating healthy but just doesn’t want to give it all up yet. So give it a try, you can buy their products online or even in       Kem Chicks, and tell me what you think about it.

Lately, Selena Gomez has been a favourite of mine. The newly crowned “instagram queen” is just doing all the right things to gain more support and love from her fans. A year ago things were different for her, people shamed her for gaining weight even though she was going through treatment for Lupus. But now with her on-going Revival Tour she is shutting up the haters. She looks so much healthier and has a very positive body image about herself. From the informations that I have gathered from the internet, many sources said that she didn’t go on a crazy diet, but she ate junk foods moderately, trying out different exercises, and eating lots of wholesome foods.Selena really showed me how other peoples’ comments do not matter, and if you want to prove something, do it for yourself and not for other people.

For me this is really important, because being a teenager I get really worried about the smallest things, such as, my weight and how my body looks.  Not long ago, all I cared was how skinny I looked and what it says on the scale while eating nothing but junk food. But now I understand that it is not the numbers that defines me, but it’s the way I treat my body that does. I guess you could say this is one of the many phases in life, where I try to be healthy, but I really hope that I can keep doing this in the long run. Wish me luck guyss!
